Requirements
Create a logo that takes the wonders of the world and refine it into a simple logo.
Resolution
Starting with a bear claw for the name Ursa we combined it with astrological patters. The pad of the paw acting like a planet with each claw being a moon.
Refining infinite possibilities
We worked on dozens of thumbnails refining them down to 4 possible choices. We knew we were going to have some combination of bear and science. Some used astronomical imagery such as the moon while others used geometric and geodesic patterns.
